The Rady Children’s
Hospital Auxiliary that I am a member of have decided that we are going to hold
a 5K Turkey Trot for our big fundraiser.
Of course I have taken the lead on this so we will see how it goes. This year we had a “dress rehearsal” to
see how people would take the idea.
They loved it. We only put
it out on social media and emails to family and friends. We had about 200 people show up for a
5k walk along the beautiful San Diego Bay. Hopefully this will end up being a great tradition.
