As
of last week we have a new member to our family. Brian was FINALLY selected to be a K9 officer. This has been his goal for his entire
career. He has put in tons of
hours and worked really hard to get this prestigious spot. So about 6 hours after he got the call
that he got the job they delivered a huge kennel and house. The following morning Brain went to
meet his new partner, Ranger, and bring him home. He spent the next few days bonding with him and now they act
as if they have always been together.
The kids and I stay away from him but say hi when we go past his
home. There has been a big
adjustment period for all of us but so far so good. Brian is happy and we are all really proud of him. So last weekend we had concrete poured
and set up his new home. We added
some bamboo fencing and flowers to make it look nice in the backyard. In the next few weeks we will be
putting a putting green in the rest of the empty space.
