This weekend was the
88th Annual Coronado Flower Show. This is a very fun time in Coronado. The entire community helps pull this
one off. Connor’s Kindergarten class was scheduled to be on the local news
channel this morning promoting it but with all the recent events in Boston it
was cancelled. That was a bummer.
Each kid in his class entered a seed plate. Connor got a Second place (red ribbon) for his which was
suppose to look like a Birds of Paradise plant. He also entered a cactus that he has, which won him a Blue
First Place. Alexis entered her
sunflower plant that was just starting to sprout and won a Second Place
ribbon. They both did a great job
and are so excited. It was a
beautiful day and event.
