2011 Miramar Air Show was this weekend and we had a great time. This is a free event that the military puts on for San Diego. I think close to 150,000 attend over the three days they fly. Brian and I got up early and we took the big boys to see the air show and climb around in all the aircrafts. They do a fabulous job setting up all the planes and helicopters. It is very nice to see all the men and women that have been serving our country enjoy themselves and have fun as well. Connor and Liam thanked almost every person they saw in a uniform. It was in the high 80’s out on the tarmac and with little shade it got to you. As we were leaving we saw that Tony Gwynn and his Son Tony Gwynn Jr (Dodgers) were signing autographs and taking pictures so we had to stop. Connor was very impressed to see Tony sine he commentates for the Padres now.
